The Onshore Drilling Program covered a multi-well campaign across mature and step-out locations in Western Kazakhstan. ODS Oil and Gas LLP supported the operator with well engineering, rig readiness, contractor coordination, completion planning, and production handover.
The programme required careful control of drilling efficiency, HSE exposure, and reservoir protection. ODS integrated offset-well lessons, real-time drilling performance tracking, and standardised field procedures to improve repeatability across the campaign.
The assignment combined front-end well planning with daily field execution support, ensuring that each well moved from drilling approval to completion and clean-up without losing technical continuity.
The execution plan was organised into controlled workstreams so engineering, HSE, procurement, commissioning, and operations readiness moved together instead of becoming disconnected site activities.
ODS maintained a joined-up field team with the operator, drilling contractor, mud engineers, logging specialists, and completion service providers. Decisions were documented through daily reports, action trackers, and formal management-of-change controls.
The programme improved drilling cycle time, reduced avoidable delays, and gave the operator a reliable well delivery framework for future pads. Production start-up was achieved with stable handover documentation, stronger contractor accountability, and no major HSE events.
