HSE & Compliance Program - Multi-Site Safety Performance Upgrade

Project Overview

The HSE & Compliance Program strengthened safety leadership, field compliance, contractor control, and audit readiness across multiple operating locations. ODS Oil and Gas LLP supported the client with a practical, site-based programme tied directly to operational risk.

The work focused on making safe execution repeatable: clear procedures, visible supervision, contractor alignment, field coaching, incident learning, and evidence-based verification. The programme was designed for long-term adoption by local leadership teams.

Scope of Work

ODS delivered gap assessments, field audits, procedure reviews, training packages, contractor engagement, and management-system improvements across production, processing, pipeline, and maintenance activities.

Technical Execution

The execution plan was organised into controlled workstreams so engineering, HSE, procurement, commissioning, and operations readiness moved together instead of becoming disconnected site activities.

  • Completed site HSE baseline reviews covering permit-to-work, isolation, lifting, confined space, and driving risk
  • Developed role-specific training for supervisors, maintenance teams, contractors, and emergency coordinators
  • Improved contractor prequalification, mobilisation checks, toolbox talk quality, and field verification routines
  • Implemented leading-indicator dashboards for observations, corrective actions, audit closure, and safety coaching
  • Prepared evidence packs for internal assurance, regulator engagement, and management review meetings

Client Partnership

ODS worked directly with site managers, supervisors, workforce representatives, and contractor leadership. The programme avoided generic classroom-only training and instead focused on field behaviour, visible controls, and practical ownership.

Project Results

The client achieved stronger audit performance, faster corrective-action closure, better contractor participation, and a more consistent safety culture across sites. Field teams gained simple tools for managing high-risk work and leaders gained clearer visibility over operational risk.
